The 2024 Championship will be played on July 27th and 28th, 2024 at the Club at Old Hawthorne and Columbia Country Club.
Three Divisions:
Championship, Senior (50 and over), Super Senior (65 and over)
(Championship will include a Mid-Amateur trophy and prizes)
Eligibility Requirements Entry Information
Boone County residents or those with a current affiliation with either a Boone County Golf Course or School. Amateur players only with a handicap of less than 12.
Entries close ten days before the start of the tournament. No refunds will be
issued after the close of entries.

Top 5 Finishers from previous year - Mid-Amateur & Super Senior
Club Champions from previous year — Regular and Senior (The Club at Old Hawthorne,
Country Club of Missouri, Columbia Country Club, Al Gustin)
Missouri Amateur Qualifiers (Current or Previous Year)
Players Making the Cut at the Missouri Stroke Play (Current or Previous Year)
College Players Male and Female (Current MU and Columbia College Male
Players and MU Female Players)
Past Francis Hagan Match Play Champions (Championship and Senior)
Past Phil Cotton/Richard Poe Champions (Championship and Senior and anyone
finishing in the top 10 in previous event)
Past USGA Championship Qualifiers
The remainder of the field will be chosen by the Championship Committee based on
the following criteria:
1. Area High School and College Players as Recommended by a Club Professional or Coach.
2. USGA Handicap Index
3. Past Participation/Performance in the Columbia Championship Tournament and Performance in other Events
